Summary: Output lost while running as a window service
Initial Comment:
When the application server is run as a windows service
all of the output (such as print statements) get lost.
It is explicitly sent to a null stream.
Wouldn't it make more sense to assign it to a
filehandler (or a RotatingFileHandler) so that the
output could be captured for whatever purpose?
