Hi!

I don't think you should be doing this via formencode... I would suggest
you just give suggestions about the form input on the page your form is
displayed on. Maybe even use a little javascript to make that more
intelligent.
That's how I've seen it done on sites like Ebay or Amazon.

Otherwise you might want to subclass the Invalid exception for
communication between Validators and other code. You should however only
raise an Invalid exception when the data is "invalid" which means
unprocessable. I would not recommend to nag the user a lot about "not
perfect" data.
